The 2nd Annual Wild Hare Country Festival took place from 19-20 July, 2019 at Pat’s Acres Racing Complex in Canby, Oregon. An all-ages event, it bills itself as two days of the real-deal, honest country music, featuring 17 outstanding bands on 3 stages, delicious food, onsite camping, and a whole bunch of real fun and Country Music Fans! The 2nd year featured 17 national and local independent Country and Red Dirt artists on 3 stages. Some of the headliners included Cody Johnson, Whitey Morgan, Jason Boland & The Stragglers, Mike & The Moonpies, and Micky & The Motorcars.

Just a short 20-30 minute drive south of Portland, the festival was held on 90 sprawling acres around Pat’s Acres Racing Complex in Canby, OR. It featured free no-frills tent camping for attendees in addition to RV spots, plus a village for “glamping”, where attendees could leave their tent at home and arrive to a spacious canvas Bell tent already setup and comfortably furnished, all thanks to a company called Life Intents. In addition to camping, there was also a number of food trucks providing some of the best local fare, a full range of microbrews, domestic beer, and wines.

This is only the 2nd year for this great festival and it will only continue to get better in the coming years. Plan a trip now for next year!
