Brad is the Owner and Chief Editor of Texas Music Photographers and a portrait and music photographer with over 15 years of experience. He is a retired military pilot who has combined his love of photography, travel, and music into a second career. He calls Boerne, Texas home where you can usually find him behind his camera at local music venues or arenas photographing Grammy, ACM, and CMA award winning acts. He travels extensively and his experience includes concerts/music festivals, portraits, weddings, corporate events, landscapes, and real estate. He is a contributor to many national/regional publications and has had his work appear on albums and in various marketing mediums.

Andrew Quinn

Andrew settled in the hill country town of New Braunfels, Texas after having lived in almost every corner of Texas throughout his life. A decade later and he has found his home where the Comal and Guadalupe rivers meet. He began his photography journey in 2016 shooting local Texas and Red Dirt shows at such legendary places as Gruene Hall and Floore’s Country Store. He has photographed over 200 artists, including ACM, CMA, and Grammy Award winners. Andrew is currently the resident photographer for Shane Smith & The Saints and travels quite extensively while on tour.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Denise is a proud Texan and supporter of live music. Although she can be most often found in the San Antonio/Austin area at a honky-tonk or music festival listening to Texas Country Music, Denise is a lover of all genres and her favorite part about contributing to local publications is being introduced to and exposed to different music.

Robert is a Professional Photographer and Realtor based in North Central Idaho. He started out almost 20 years ago as a Nature Photographer specializing in wildlife. His photos have been featured in almost every major outdoor publication including Field and Stream, Outdoor Life, and National Geographic. With a life-long love of music, Robert began shooting concerts and musicians several years ago, from venues in his home state of Idaho to those spread out across the country. When not at work, Robert loves taking his two sons on outdoor adventures, rafting, camping, fishing, hunting, and traveling.

Zach was born and raised in a small town in south Arkansas. He started photography in college after taking a photo journalism elective and ended up enjoying it more than expected. He moved to Austin, TX in 2012 and started his career in IT. This is where his love for Red Dirt Country music and photographing local bands began. He and his wife enjoy seeing shows around Austin, Gruene, New Braunfels, and the surrounding Hill Country just about every weekend. If not at a show, he can be found fishing, hunting, or camping when he gets the chance. Woo Pig Sooie!

Patrick Tewey is a professional photographer based out of the New York City area. He travels extensively shooting live events and has the ability to capture, process, caption, and transmit digital images during and immediately after the event. This allows for use in up-to-the-minute updates on all social media platforms as the event is in progress. Patrick provides services for multi-day festivals, concerts, sporting events, special events, as well as filling any advertising and marketing needs. He also shoots meet-and-greets, portraits, and head shots. He is a published photographer whose music, sports, and nature photos have been seen in various major media outlets and organizations including Sports Illustrated, ESPN, The National Audubon Magazine, TheBoot.com, TasteofCountry.com, CBS Sports, The New York Post, and multiple University Sports organization media publications. He is also the lead photographer for the Taste of Country Music Festival, Mile 0 Fest, and the Red Dirt BBQ and Music Festival.

Chris began his photographic journey in 2010. Initially, he focused primarily on landscape and western lifestyle photography, but in 2016 he found a way to combine his passion for photography and his love of music by becoming a music/concert photographer. He has contributed to many publications and has had his work appear on albums and in various marketing mediums. Although based in the Lake Tahoe/Reno Nevada area, Chris travels extensively to capture stunning images.

Melanie is the owner of MelakneeRows Photography and Design. She grew up in Deer Park, Texas and got her BFA from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her love for photography runs deep, starting in high school with a point-and-shoot Kodak. She enjoys music and loves to go to shows all over Texas. While the bulk of her experience is in country music, she enjoys shooting all genres.

Maribelle is a freelance photographer based out of Houston, Texas.  She graduated high school at the young age of 16 and became the first person in her family to attend college. After obtaining her associates degree, she began a career as a paralegal. Maribelle has always had a natural creative spark and a love for photography and music, which led her to pursue her passion for concert photography in the summer of 2018.  Since then, she has photographed concerts at music venues big and small, and has shot internationally and nationally known bands and artists, including Grammy and Latin Grammy winners/nominees, as well as several top Billboard, Country, and Latino artists.

Tim and Melissa Murphy, collectively known as Crackers & Cucumbers Photography, started their photographic journey when Tim picked up Melissa’s “kit” camera a few years ago and fell in love with it. Out of that, a passion for photography was born. They enjoy capturing the “moments”, whether it’s music, family or the views from their adopted hometown of Waco, Texas. They are not “native” Texans, but as the saying goes, they “got here as fast as they could.” Their love for Texas and Waco has led them to share their photographic memories and thus their photography business was born. They also serve as house photographers for The Backyard Bar Stage and Grill, in Waco and as staff photographers for Galleywinter. They’ve got numerous Texas/Red Dirt/Americana album covers under their belts, and Tim also co-hosts “Hello Texas” with best friend and fellow photographer, Steve Peters.

Steven has taken his love for live Texas Country Music and combined it with his love for photography to turn it into a profession he loves. Since 2012, Steven has been a regular fixture at the venues in and around the small town of Belton, Texas, about an hour North of Austin. He has been nominated as Texas Music Photographer of the Year by the Central Texas Music Awards and is partner and frequent contributor to CenTexFun.com. He’s also a photography teacher and occasionally enlists the help of his favorite student, his 15 year old daughter and aspiring photographer, Bailey. Steven and fellow Texas Music Photographers Tim and Melissa Murphy of Crackers and Cucumbers Photography are frequent collaborators.

Becky Stinehour is a portrait, commercial, and event photographer, specializing in live music venues. She is a former “Army Brat” who has been settled in Texas since the 1980s. She loves to capture the energy of live music through the lens of her camera. Her work has been  published in several regional magazines, as well as used by several Texas music artists for social media/marketing materials.

DaVE Hensley

Dave Hensley is a Texas photographer and a photographer of Texas. Born and raised in the Lone Star State, Dave's first experience in professional photography was as a photojournalist for the local newspaper in Cameron, TX from 1977 to 1984. In more recent years, Dave has been an event photographer for a number of Texas and New Mexico music festivals including Larry Joe Taylor's Texas Music Festival, Tommy Alverson's Family Gathering, Walt Wilkins' Waltstock, Red River Songwriters Music Festival, and Michael Hearne's Big Barndance in Taos, NM. In addition to music, he is an avid nature and landscape photographer. Dave has had his work published in a wide array of books, magazines, and newspapers. He is a staff photographer for Texas Music Magazine and a contributor to Getty Images. His photos have also been used by a number of Texas music artists for album artwork and marketing materials.
